Visit our websites (including any subdomains) or landing pages;
Enroll in or participate in any AI America training, course, cohort, or event (including programs under Ohio TechCred or overseen by the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools (SBCCS));
Communicate with us by email, phone, or other channels; or
Otherwise interact with us where this Privacy Policy is linked or referenced.
You consent to this Privacy Policy by using our Services. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Services.

2. Scope & Roles
We may act as:
A data controller when we decide how and why to process personal information (for example, when you sign up directly for an AI America course, join our email list, or visit our website); and
A data processor / service provider when we process information on behalf of an employer, educational institution, or other organization that sponsors your training. In those cases, that organization’s privacy terms and data processing instructions control many aspects of how your information is used.
If your enrollment is arranged or paid for by your employer or another sponsoring organization (e.g., under Ohio TechCred), that organization may receive information about your participation and completion status as needed for reimbursement and compliance.
3. Information We Collect
The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us and our Services. We may collect:
3.1 Information You Provide Directly
Identification & contact details
Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, employer name, job title, and similar identifiers.Enrollment & profile data

Provide required reports to employer sponsors or relevant state agencies for reimbursement or compliance.

Send transactional communications (enrollment confirmations, schedule updates, service announcements, policy changes);
Respond to your inquiries and support requests;
Send optional newsletters or marketing communications (where permitted by law and your preferences).
Improve and develop our offerings
Analyze course engagement and performance data to improve curricula and instruction;
Test and develop new features, tools, and offerings related to AI training;
Conduct surveys and research (often using aggregated or de-identified data).

5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in certain state privacy laws.

Code Chapter 1354), where applicable.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Breach Notification
If we become aware of a security breach that affects your personal information, we will investigate promptly and take appropriate remedial steps. Where required by law, including Ohio’s data breach notification statute (Ohio Rev. Code § 1349.19), we will notify affected individuals and, where applicable, regulators without unreasonable delay and within any legally mandated timeframes (for Ohio residents, generally within 45 days where there is a material risk of identity theft or fraud).
